By the way, photo up there is a new offering at Beanstalk Cafe [...]
Back To Beanstalk is another original post from: adayinthelifeofrj.com
Too many of us working mothers do not realize how invaluable a nanny's role in the family is. Got this tag from Mommy Charm.. Thanks for the tag! :)
Question : What I love most about being a mom?
If I were to write everything I love about being a mom, I'd probably run out of space to write on, really. But if there's anything that strikes me most at this particular point in my [...]
Being A Mother is another original post from: adayinthelifeofrj.com
As you may have noticed, I have been out since Monday. Just got back late Thursday. My dear brother-in-law Eugene Marmol passed away Friday morning following an accelerated pneumonia that compounded his recent heart surgery at the Philippine Heart Center. He has been ill since late last year but we never could have expected such [...]
A Tribute to My Brother, Eugene is another original post from: adayinthelifeofrj.com
I do not know how to start this post. And if a blogger needs to be inspired to blog, then I am not a blogger tonight. For tonight, it is not inspiration that prompts me to write. It is grief. Tonight, after a week of blogging hiatus, I come back to blog not of excitement [...]
Eugene, My Brother. My mother is such a sucker for plants. I remember when I was younger, so much younger than today (haha..), she would wake up very early in the morning never forgetting to water her dear plants. She would lovingly check each leaf for aphids (whitish plant insects) and remove each one carefully as if a [...]
Gardening is Therapeutic is another original post from: adayinthelifeofrj.com
It seems like yesterday when I celebrated my first Mother's Day, six months after giving birth to my son. Now, it's my fourth. And it always felt even better than celebrating my birthday. Maybe that's because when I celebrate Mother's Day, I always celebrate it with my son. It's like a "mother [...]
My 4th Mother’s Day is another original post from: adayinthelifeofrj.com
Me and my sister managed to talk a bit yesterday over coffee (frappe, actually) at Beanstalk Cafe at the 5th floor of the Calamba Executive Center, fronting Mart-One grocery at Crossing. Meralco Foundation Institute's new branch and a Globe Business Center is housed in the same building. When I first came in, I couldn't believe [...]
Beanstalk Cafe: Inspiring a Natural View is another original post from: adayinthelifeofrj.com
This morning, my day started at 5 minutes before 2AM. It's the 4th day of "Misa de Gallo" in the Philippines, a traditional novena (9 days) of prayer and attending mass that starts at exactly 4AM beginning on December 16th until the 24th. "Misa de Gallo" is the Spanish term for "Mass of the [...]
Nine Mornings: A Believer’s Realization is another original post from: adayinthelifeofrj.com
